Gorgeous river views

the staff were super helpful and friendly, really went out of their way to make my stay comfy. the bed was nice and quiet too, perfect for my needs. i loved the meal options, way better than my last visit. and i enjoyed the pool and gym facilities, made my stay even better.

the room could have used a bit more space, felt a little cramped. also, there wasn't enough signage for parking, which was annoying.

The check-in process was chaotic. waiting 20 minutes while also dealing with a malfunctioning key card was frustrating!!! Noise from neighboring rooms and outside traffic truly hampered relaxation during my stay!!! Attention to cleanliness, particularly regarding carpets, definitely needs improvement!!!

Family Friendly but Could be Better

Had a lovely time with the kids at the pool and enjoyed a pleasant breakfast with friendly staff. The room we got was spacious and well decorated which made our stay much more enjoyable.

I had a lovely 3-night stay. the swimming pool was warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was abundant with fresh, tasty options. I would return for another relaxing getaway.

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored a local amusement park and a beautiful hiking trail. The gym and pool were a hit, too! Just a heads up, the bar closes early on weekends, but the staff was super friendly. Super spacious room with all the essential amenities. Recommended for sure!

The location is perfect, right by the river with nice walking paths. The bar area offers a great atmosphere, especially when Paul is working. He really made our time enjoyable, playing games with us and being very engaging. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the grassy area outside. Housekeeping kept things tidy, but I did notice a few dusty spots in the corner. Breakfast had a good variety, and most items were fresh. I appreciated that the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. The pool seemed to be operating on limited hours. There were also some dining options that weren't available during our stay, particularly on weekends. The noise levels at mealtimes were sometimes overwhelming, especially when the hotel was busy. In our room, I struggled with the heating, which stayed on all night despite my attempts to adjust it.

The Holiday Inn Lancaster, An Ihg Hotel, had a lovely contemporary decor and was very accessible for seniors, with wide corridors and comfortable seating areas, making it easy to navigate and relax during my stay.

Loved the spacious Standard Room with great amenities like a flat-screen TV, kettle, and free toiletries. The indoor swimming pool and steam room were perfect for relaxing. Breakfast had a nice selection with warm items and plenty of coffee. The free parking was a huge plus, making it super convenient for my travel plans.
